Profile
Tindall Farm & Market is a third-generation, family-owned produce farm that has been a staple of the Uxbridge community for over 50 years. Spanning more than 300 acres, the farm is renowned for being one of Ontario’s largest producers of cauliflower, while also growing a diverse range of crops including broccoli, cabbage, and pumpkins. The on-farm market, which operates seasonally from late June through Christmas, offers an authentic farm-to-table experience with fresh produce, scratch-made baked goods like butter tarts and pies, and a variety of preserves and frozen meals. Beyond retail, the farm is a popular destination for seasonal activities such as chemical-free “pick-your-own” strawberries in the summer and a vibrant pumpkin patch in the fall. Known for its commitment to the community, the Tindall family was recently named Durham Region’s Farm Family of the Year, in part due to their significant annual donations of fresh vegetables to local food banks.
