Durham Community Action Group

Durham Community Action Group is a community‑based, not‑for‑profit organization serving the Durham Region of Ontario, Canada. Established in 2008, it is dedicated to supporting the Black community while remaining open to all residents in the region. DCAG delivers a wide range of services, including a food pantry, youth personal development programs, seniors supports, training, and counselling to address social needs and strengthen families. The group also engages in advocacy, educational workshops, and community development to promote inclusion and well‑being across Durham. It plays an active role in regional efforts to reduce poverty and enhance food security and community resilience.
