Profile
Located south of Uxbridge on the ecologically sensitive Oak Ridges Moraine, the East Duffins Headwaters is a vast conservation area managed by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). This rugged landscape protects the source of Duffins Creek and features a diverse mix of mature forests, rolling hills, and open meadows. Popular among hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians, it offers an extensive network of challenging, multi-use trails—including sections of the Oak Ridges Trail—that provide a more secluded and wilderness-focused experience compared to the busier nearby tracts.
