O’Neill Collegiate and Vocational Institute (OCVI) is a historic secondary school located in central Oshawa, operating under the Durham District School Board (DDSB). Recognized as the city’s oldest high school, it is best known for housing the region’s specialized Performing Arts (PA) program, which attracts students from across Durham for audition-based training in dance, drama, and music. Beyond its artistic focus, the school offers a comprehensive academic curriculum, including Gifted streams and Specialist High Skills Majors, all housed within a landmark building on Simcoe Street North famous for its student-created murals and rich heritage.
