KB Equestrian Services (often simply referred to as KB Equestrian) is a specialized equine rehabilitation and training facility located in the quiet countryside of Sunderland (Brock Township) within the Durham Region. Founded and operated by Kim Beard, a certified equine physiotherapist, the center is distinguished by its focus on individualized, medically-informed recovery programs rather than traditional public riding lessons. The facility is designed to be a “calm and controlled” environment for horses recovering from injuries or surgery, offering advanced therapies such as clay therapy, massage, and structured conditioning. With 24/7 on-site surveillance and a limited number of horses accepted at any given time, KB Equestrian provides a high level of personalized care, working in close coordination with veterinarians and farriers to support long-term equine wellness and performance.
