Canadian Tank Museum / Ontario Regiment Museum

The Ontario Regiment Museum, also known as the Canadian Tank Museum, is a world-class military history destination located at the Oshawa Executive Airport. It houses North America’s largest collection of operational historical military vehicles, with over 130 tanks, armored cars, and trucks from World War I to the present day. Beyond its impressive fleet, the museum serves as an accredited Canadian Forces Museum that preserves the legacy of the Ontario Regiment (RCAC), Canada’s oldest continuing militia unit, through extensive galleries of uniforms, medals, and weaponry. The facility is famous for its live-action events, such as Tank Saturdays and the massive annual Aquino Tank Weekend, where visitors can witness armored vehicle demonstrations and even book rides in a real tank or armored personnel carrier.
