Profile
Located in the south end of Oshawa near Highway 401, LVIV Hall (also known as the LVIV Hall & Pavilion) is a prominent cultural and event center that has been a staple of the Durham Region since 1982. Originally built by the St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church to commemorate the millennium of Christianity in Ukraine, the venue features two distinct levels: an Upper Hall with high ceilings and a large stage that can accommodate up to 450 guests, and a more intimate Lower Level suitable for groups of up to 150. The hall is widely recognized for its authentic Ukrainian cuisine, specializing in dishes like perogies and cabbage rolls, and it serves as the home of the LVIV Dancers. Every June, it becomes a major hub for the city’s annual Fiesta week, hosting the Ukrainian Pavilion and attracting thousands of visitors for traditional food and performances.
