Simcoe Hall Settlement House is a historic community organization in the Durham Region of Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1935 by the Women’s Welfare League in Oshawa, it began as a settlement house to help newcomers and families facing hardship during the Great Depression and has since evolved to meet changing local needs. Today it operates a food bank and a wide range of programs for children, youth, seniors and families, including after‑school activities, camps, wellness support and seasonal initiatives. Simcoe Hall serves thousands across Durham Region each year by providing essential resources, care and opportunities to foster stronger, healthier communities.
