Located at 1455 Cedar Street, the South Oshawa Community Centre (SOCC) is a prominent multi-purpose recreational hub serving the Durham Region. Built in 2006, the facility is known for its modern architectural design, which features a signature sloped roof and floor-to-ceiling windows offering scenic views of Lake Ontario. The centre provides a wide range of amenities tailored to all ages, including a fully-equipped fitness centre, a gymnasium, dance and fitness studios, a teaching kitchen, and a popular Youth Room outfitted with gaming systems, pool tables, and air-hockey.
