Profile
The Sri Shirdi Sai Society of Durham is a dedicated spiritual organization and community hub for devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba within the Durham Region. While the society maintains its own organizational identity and a digital presence, its physical spiritual activities are primarily centered at the SV Temple of Durham, located at 360 King Street West in Oshawa. This temple houses a revered murti (statue) of Shirdi Sai Baba alongside Lord Lakshmi Narasimha, creating a unified space for worship. The society fosters the teachings of “Sabka Malik Ek” (One God Governs All) through regular Vedic rituals, including the four daily Aartis (Kakad, Madhyan, Dhoop, and Shej), as well as weekly Bhajans and spiritual discourses.
