The Robert McLaughlin Gallery

The Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa is the largest public art gallery in the Durham Region, known for its outstanding collection of modern and contemporary Canadian art. Founded in 1967 and housed in a striking modernist building designed by renowned architect Arthur Erickson, the gallery features a permanent collection of over 4,000 works, including the world’s most significant holdings by the abstract group Painters Eleven.
