Grand Valley Park

Located in Pickering, Grand Valley Park serves as a significant recreational hub within the Durham Region, primarily known for its extensive leash-free dog areas and its role as a key access point for the Seaton Hiking Trail. The park is divided into two distinct off-leash zones: a large, expansive area at the bottom of the hill for high-energy dogs to roam, and a smaller, gated area near the parking lot specifically designed for small dogs or owners with mobility challenges. Beyond its popularity with pet owners, the park offers a peaceful escape into nature with scenic, wooded paths that run alongside the West Duffins Creek.
