Uxbridge Arena & Recreation Centre

The Uxbridge Arena & Recreation Centre is a vital community hub located at 291 Brock Street West, serving as the primary destination for ice sports and large-scale gatherings in the Township of Uxbridge. This twin-pad facility—consisting of the original 1978 arena and a second pad added in 1997—is the proud home of the Uxbridge Bruins Junior C hockey team and hosts a wide range of programs including North Durham Minor Hockey, the Uxbridge Skating Club, and adult leagues. During the summer months, the ice is removed to create a “dry slab” used for lacrosse, ball hockey, and trade shows. Adjacent to the ice pads is a spacious Community Centre banquet hall, which features a dance floor and a capacity for over 400 guests, making it a popular choice for weddings, fundraisers, and community meetings.
