Uxbridge Music Hall

Located in the heart of the township, the Uxbridge Music Hall is a premier cultural landmark in the Durham Region, celebrated for its “superior acoustics” and rich history dating back to its opening in 1901. The building is an outstanding specimen of local heritage, featuring a restored interior that retains its original opera chairs in the balcony and a magnificent three-foot-wide cut glass chandelier at its center. With a total capacity of approximately 259 seats, the hall serves as a thriving hub for live dramas, musicals, stand-up comedy, and concerts. It is frequently utilized by local groups like OnStage Uxbridge and the Uxbridge Youth Theatre, and it notably bears the city’s official coat-of-arms, granted in 1954, on its exterior facade.
