Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre

The Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre (CRWC) is a premier 90,000-square-foot facility located at 2000 Simcoe Street North in Oshawa, serving as the central athletic and health hub for both Durham College and Ontario Tech University. Opened in 2007, the center features a massive 28,000-square-foot triple gymnasium with seating for 2,000 spectators, a secondary double gymnasium, and the FLEX Fitness Centre, which offers 10,000 square feet of state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment. A standout feature is the elevated, 200-metre indoor jogging track that overlooks the main courts. Beyond physical fitness, the CRWC houses the Campus Health and Wellness Centre, providing students with access to a medical clinic, professional counseling, a full-service pharmacy, and alternative therapies such as massage and acupuncture, truly embodying a holistic approach to student well-being.
