Ajax Pickering Raiders Minor Hockey Association

The Ajax Pickering Raiders Minor Hockey Association (APMHA) is a prominent youth hockey organization in the Durham Region, formed through the amalgamation of the Ajax Minor Hockey, Pickering Minor Hockey, and the original Ajax-Pickering Raiders AAA programs. Operating primarily out of the Don Beer Arena in Pickering and the Ajax Community Centre, the association provides a comprehensive hockey pathway for players aged 5 to 21. Their structure includes a wide range of competitive tiers, with AAA teams competing in the Eastern AAA Hockey League and AA, A, and BB representative teams playing within the Lakeshore League. In addition to its elite representative programs, the APMHA maintains a robust House League and developmental school, offering skill-enhancement sessions and goaltender-specific training. The association is well-regarded for its commitment to player development, frequently seeing its alumni advance to higher levels of play, including the Ontario Hockey League and the Canadian Junior Hockey system.
