Uxbridge Curling Club

The Uxbridge Curling Club located at 70 Franklin Street, is a premier sports and social hub in the Durham Region with a rich history dating back to 1960. Originally established by a dedicated group of local volunteers, the member-owned club has grown into a vibrant community where curlers of all skill levels—from “Little Rocks” (ages 7–12) to seasoned veterans—gather to compete and socialize. The facility features four sheets of high-quality ice, a fully licensed lounge with a viewing gallery, and a large upper dining hall often used for community events and private rentals. Renowned for its friendly atmosphere and competitive spirit, the club is home to several Ontario championship winners and remains a volunteer-driven cornerstone of the township’s winter recreation scene.
